This is such a great post! I’m shocked to see that Charlaine Harris was rated lowly on Goodreads. I remember loving that series.
Thanks! The series wasn’t all bad, but that book was like a “where are they now” look after the series ended and it was not good. I don’t remember many details, except for one character that was kind of major in several books it said something like “he had many more adventures.” And that was it! Meanwhile all these side characters I didn’t remember had all these details.
I can see why it would lowly rated then.
Wow! You were pretty much spot on! I should try this with some of the romances I’ve read with the lowest ratings. I need to remember that!

It seems like you match a common consensus for all of the books and that you didn’t really end up hating some who were universally beloved! 😛
I did feel a little validated! I think it will be a different experience when I compare my ratings to the highest rated books on Goodreads, though.
