How is everyone doing? I personally think the world is overreacting right now, but I’ll still stay home and follow the guidelines the government and health officials put forth. I mean, I’ve been practicing social distancing all my life, so it’s not really a big deal. I am on administrative leave / working remotely for at least the next three weeks so that means plenty of time for reading! I plan on working through my ARCs:
Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett
Admission by Julie Buxbaum
By the Book by Amanda Sellet
Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson
The Wife Who Knew Too Much by Michele Campbell
The Girl from Widow Hills by Megan Miranda
The Heatwave by Katerina Diamond
Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
The Bright Lands by John Fram
The Vacation by T.M. Logan
Louisiana Lucky by Julie Pennell
Woo hoo! What an awesome list!! Enjoy your time off and I hope you love all of your picks!!📚💜💗
Thank you!
I am doing the same thing — working through my ARCs. I started with Little Secrets and now I’m onto Chasing Lucky. I hope we both love it! I am interested in hearing your thoughts on Admission when you finish it. That one keeps catching my eyes.
I hope so too! Admission is the first book I’ve seen referencing that college scandal. I expect there will be more.
I’m sure there will be…
I also think the world is overreacting! I will abide by their guidelines though. I’m a stay at home mom, so not too much changes. I won’t have a whole lot of extra reading time either. LOL! I hope you get through your ARC’s. You have some GREAT ones!! 🙂
My TTT!
Thank you! I’m sorry you don’t have much more time to read, but I’m glad your routine isn’t changing too much!
It’s okay… totally worth the reason. 🙂 Stay healthy & safe!
I also agree this is overreacting but I also don’t mind keeping to myself. It concerns me because my son is a senior. Thankfully his school isn’t cancelling prom like some are. I hope our entire family can go to his graduation. Your list looks so good! I have to make sure I have all these on my TBR.
When is his prom? Right now mass gatherings of more than 50 aren’t supposed to happen, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s cancelled. But hopefully things will be less crazy by then! Is your office still open or are you off/working remotely?
They rescheduled it to May 29. Graduation also has alternate dates in June and July. I don’t care much about prom but I would to see him graduate.
Yes, definitely. That sounds far enough out that it should be fine. Hopefully!
My office is still open but we are seeing a lot more cancellations. I was supposed to go to the main office tomorrow because the md in the satellite office is off but they told me not to come in since there isn’t much to do. I am glad because it gives me 5 days off! How do you like working from home?
I’m only working an hour or two a day, so it’s not bad. I miss my multiple screens, but it’s fine. Despite what’s going on in the world, I’m going to try and enjoy the time home.
Hey Stephanie, a great list during our world upheaval!
Thanks!
You have some pretty great titles on this TBR!
I’m pretty excited for them!
I hope you enjoy them all!
woooo hooo all of these looking so interesting and my type…Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks! I hope you enjoy whichever ones you end up reading!
Wow! That was some list!
What is on y COVID-19 TBR? I’ll have to see what I have coming up.
Stay well.
Thanks! I hope you’re staying healthy and find some good books to read!
So far I am. I’m doing my best to stay away from it. I have lots of books, just have to decide what I need to read next (and write a few reviews).
This is a great TBR listI hope you enjoy all of them! I’m also looking forward to Chasing lucky, and Mexican Gothic!
Thanks! So far I’ve DNF-ed one and gave 2 stars to another, so it’s not going to so well for me right now haha. I have high hopes for a few others, though, including the two you mentioned!
