March 2020 Recap

So. March. Obviously the world has gone crazy. I’m choosing to enjoy my time working from home. We were supposed to go back to work next week, but we are all anticipating the Governor to extend the Stay at Home Order to fall in line with the Federal guidelines, so we’ll see. After an initial book slump my first week at home, I’ve gotten back in the reading mood and have finished a pretty good number of books.

    • Thanks! The board extended us to one more week from home next week, which kind of surprised me because I expected more. I guess we’ll see what the governor says on his press conference today. I believe he’s supposed to announce the extension of the stay at home order.

      • We’re probably getting an extension in the next day or two as well. School is out until at least April 27th anyway. I think it would be a good call. I’ll cross my fingers that you get to stay safely at home even longer.

  1. Hi Stephanie! Yes, our libraries are now closed through April and schools are closed indefinitely. Glad you are back in reading mode! I love that bookstore sign about current events 🙂

    • Haha I liked that one, too! Our board approved this morning staying closed through next week, but that was it. I’m watching our Governor’s press conference right now and waiting to see what he extends the stay at home order to. He previously announced schools are closed until May 1st (and they will reevaluate that later). Hope you’re staying healthy!
