Today marks three years since I’ve started Stephanie’s Book Reviews! I’ve had ups and downs and have thought about quitting about a hundred times, but overall, I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve read many great (and not so great) books and have made some great blogger friends.
To thank you all for the Likes, Comments, and Follows from the last three years, I’m having a giveaway. You can a win a copy of any book I’ve reviewed (you can look up lists by author or by rating), up to a $20 value from the Book Depository. Open international (as long as Book Depository ships to you) – must be 18 or over to enter.
Woop-woop! Congrats on year 3! 🙂 Hope you keep going for another 3 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity as well!
Thank you!!
Also- not sure how you like crime/mystery and absolutely whacky, but I recommend Frank Friendship series by RG Manse. It’s very cleverly written and one of the best series I read last year… all 3 in the series can be read as standalone novels as well.
I love crime/mystery and whacky! Thanks for the rec – I added it to my TBR! 🙂
hehehe… yeah, i hope you dig it. Its quite shocking in places but you’ll just never see the twists etc coming and in so don’t give up easily 😉
Happy Blogaversary!! It goes by quickly. I’m glad you keep blogging and that we’ve connected through this blog world!
Thank you! I’m so glad we’ve connected, too. Maybe some day we will actually get to meet 🙂
Definitely! Let’s plan a meet up at the bookstore at The Strip! Sometime this summer!
That would be awesome! I’ll be there in all my social-anxiety fueled awkwardness haha.
Congratulations!!! I would recommend A Spear of Summer Grass by Deanna Raybourn. It is set in set in 1920s Kenya.
Thank you! And thanks for the rec – I’ll check it out!
Happy Blogiversary 😀 wowzas 3 years! I’m glad you chose to stick around despite the difficulties ^^

Happy blogoversary! I am glad you kept going and hope you continue for many, many more years! My recommendations are types of books I don’t usually read then end up being pleasantly surprised when I loved them. I am really happy when that happens! Unbroken, The Martian, The Help
Thank you! I’ve been debating about The Martian for awhile, but haven’t really been sure. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it.
Congrats! It’s crazy how time flies! I really enjoy reading your reviews, so keep it up!
Thank you!!
Happy blogiversary! I hope you have many more years of blogging, full of wonderful books and meaningful connections! Trying to think of a book recommendation based on our mutual love for The Raven Cycle and Six of Crows, but they’re so unique. I’m going to go with V. E. Schwab’s A Darker Shade of Magic.
Thank you! I’ve read A Darker Shade of Magic. While I liked the writing, I didn’t like the actual story as much. I’m still interested to see how it ends, though!
You know what, after I pressed send I was pretty sure you had actually already read it. It was before my coffee, so that’s my excuse 😀
LOL that’s ok!
Lois Lane Fallout & Lois Lane Double Down,The deal,Legend graphic novel

Wooo congrats on making it to 3 years of blogging at Stephanie’s Book Reviews!! Such a huge milestone and one to proud of! Thank you for the giveaway and recommend to you the Unwind series by Neal Shusterman! Such a great yet creepy/scary/thrilling concept for a book and it makes for an amazing read.
Congratulations! Thanks for the giveaway chance, and my book recommendation is If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern. 🙂
Thanks! And thank you for the book rec!!

Summer Skin by Kirsty Eagar makes for an amazing YA/NA contemporary romance novel! Great characters, realistic situations and dialogue, awesome friendships and a shippable romance!
Thanks I will look that up!
Congratulations. You’re a year ahead of me!! Currently reading I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson, quirky or what? I’m loving it.
Thanks! I have never read that one, but I’ve heard good things about it.
What a great reading month you had. I agree about The Darkest Part of the Forest. Holly Black’s writing is excellent and the relationships were great, but in my case I wished she had done more with Fae world. I heard (maybe in the acknowledgement page of this book?) that Holly had a difficult time getting this book written.
I did manage to read quite a lot! I definitely believe that Holly had a difficult time with The Darkest Part of the Forest. I think it shows in the plot. She is a very talented writer, though. I enjoyed the Curse Workers series by her.
Yep, Curse Workers is fun. What an interesting world Holly Black has built. I’m about to start reading book two in the series.
I hope you enjoy it! I actually really liked the second two books a lot more than the first.
Glad to hear it! 😀

Congrats on three years! I recommend all Colleen Hoover’s books. 🙂
Thank you! I’ve read a couple of CoHo’s books and haven’t been super impressed, but there’s still a few more of hers I’m determined to try.
Congrats on 3 years, I’m glad you’re still going strong and enjoying it all. Thanks for a generous giveaway. A book I would recommend to you is ‘Death by Dangerous by Olly Jarvis. It was my top book of 2015, and haven’t found one to beat it yet. I loved it.
Keep up the great blogging, I love your posts.
Amanda.
Thank you! And thanks for the book rec! I just added it to my TBR!
