WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
What did you recently finish reading?
Every Vow You Break by Peter Swanson. This book was bonkers and ultimately disappointed me, but it might just have broken my book slump, so I’ll take it.
What are you currently reading?
All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata. Like all Zapata books, this took me a bit to get into, but I am really enjoying it now.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m not sure, but I think I’m going to get back to my ARCs and The Plot by Jean Hanff Korelitz is next up.
I have to say, Every Vow You Break has a cover that makes me want to read it right away. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it much but at least it got you over your reading hump. I’m about to start Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt. It’s a true crime set in Savannah. Happy reading, Stephanie!
It does have a great cover! Too bad the story wasn’t as great! I’ve heard of the book you’re starting, but don’t know much about it. I’ll look forward to hearing what you think of it!
I finished Zapata’s book. Have to say…It’s now one of my favorites. I hope you will feel the same. I didn’t want it to end — even after 551 pages.
I just finished it and loved it! Probably one of my new favorites of hers now, too!
YAYYYYYY
I’m sorry Every Vow You Break disappointed you! I have such high hopes for that one… I’m also very curious about All Rhodes Lead Here. Happy reading!
I’ve seen lots of mixed reviews on Every Vow You Break, so maybe that one will work for you. All Rhodes Lead Here was definitely a good one!
I didn’t realize Mariana Zapata had a new book. Her books are SO long with their slow burns, but I love them.
Yes, it just recently came out! I do always think her books could be a good couple hundred pages shorter, but the slow burn romance usually makes it worth it!
