WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
What did you recently finish reading?
The Viscount Who Loved Me (Bridgertons #2) and An Offer From a Gentleman (Bridgertons #3) by Julia Quinn. Even though I really liked the show, I did not expect to enjoy the book series as much as I have been. I am very impatiently waiting for book #4 to be available at the library.
What are you currently reading?
The Minders by John Marrs. I’m not very far into this yet, but I’m definitely intrigued.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m not sure, but You Love Me (You #3) by Caroline Kepnes is my next ARC after The Minders.
I really need to read The Minders, I’ve heard so many good things about it. Here’s my WWW Wednesday https://hookedfrompageoneblog.wordpress.com/2021/01/27/www-wednesday-27-01-21/
I’ve head really great things about it, as well. I’m hoping it lives up to the hype!
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed The One by John Marrs. Can’t wait to see what you think of The Minders!
This is my first Marrs book, but I’ve been told that I should try The One next.
I haven’t read the Julia Quinn books, but I did see Bridgerton. Thank goodness for Kindles because I hear it’s impossible to get the books in the stores!
Oh really? I haven’t heard that about the books in stores. I’m very thankful for my e-library! I hope you enjoy them if you decide to read them!
I am so excited to read Julia Quinn!! On a long hold list but I am excited. I loved the show and can only imagine the books being better?!
My WWW!
I hope your holds come in soon! I was able to get the first three books in a bundle, but now I have to wait for the remainder. There were a lot of differences between the show and the first book, but I found I didn’t mind it. I hope you enjoy them!
Thanks! I assumed it would be a bit different since it usually is. I’m excited though!
I hope The Minders will be a good one for you! xx
Thank you! I haven’t had a lot of time to read lately, but I’m hoping to dive more into it soon.
I need to read that Bridgerton series. We’re planning on getting Netflix in Feb or March and I can’t wait to watch!
There’s some great banter in the books that I think you would probably enjoy. I’m so excited for you to watch the show, too! Just don’t watch it when your daughter is around!
LOL. Good to know!
I have been waiting forever to get the last book in the Bridgerton series. I still need to read the epilogue collection too. I really like this series. I was disappointed the first season didn’t focus on Daphne and Simon more but I can see how they set up for all the characters stories except the youngest ones.
So far the copies I’ve been able to get from the library have all included the extra epilogue. I actually haven’t loved that because it includes spoilers from books I haven’t read yet (though, I guess it’s not that spoilerly since reading the synopsis of any book will let you know who they end up with haha). After watching the show first, I was surprised of how little some of the characters were in the first book. Like, I don’t think Eloise even has any dialogue! If I had read the books first, I probably would’ve been a little disappointed with the changes, too.
