What did you recently finish reading?
The Not-Outcast by Tijan. I had been looking forward to this one, but it just didn’t work for me.
What are you currently reading?
The Cousins by Karen M. McManus. To be honest, the synopsis for this one didn’t really grab me. That and the fact that most YA isn’t really working for me these days, I was a little apprehensive about starting this. However, I’m really enjoying it so far!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve been trying to find some cute looking holiday romances on KU that I haven’t read yet and I stumbled upon My Smalltown CEO Scrooge by Harmony Knight recently, so I think I may give it a try.

WE ARE BOTH READING THE COUSINS! WE SHOULD HAVE BUDDY READ IT! I’m about 35% in and really enjoying it as well. YA hasn’t been working for me either. I wonder what that’s all about?
I’m sorry you didn’t like The Not-Outcast. I was wondering which way it would go for you. I saw your GR review and it actually went the way I thought it might. I can’t remember — have you read Hate to Love You or The Anti-Stepbrother? Those could possibly work for you.
Aw, we should’ve! I’m around 80% into it right now, though.
Anti-Stepbrother is my favorite Tijan book! I haven’t read Hate to Love You yet. It’s not at my library or in KU, so odds are slim I’ll get to it haha.
Well, I’ll have to keep an eye out to see if it ever goes free or really cheap.
