June 2020 Recap

We are half way through 2020! Give yourselves a round of applause for making it this far. June actually didn’t feel quite as horrible to me as the last couple months. Ignoring the news helps. I’m hoping for an even better July. I am moving again in a few weeks. For those that have been following along at home, you know that I moved into my current place last summer and I have basically hated every second of being here. Moving is a major pain and makes me even more stressed and anxious than usual, but I’m feeling optimistic that this is will be a good step for me. I’m ready to leave this chapter behind me.

  1. Moving house is such hard work and so stressful, and it’s awful moving in quick succession. I hope the move goes well and that you enjoy being in your new place much more than your current place. I also hope you find lots of lovely books to escape in to to help you through this stressful time. Sending a hug x

    • Thanks so much! I am very hopeful that my next place will be much better. I also didn’t unpack a lot of things when I moved here, so I’m hoping that makes my packing process a little easier and less stressful!

      • Fingers crossed that it’s a much better place for you. I hope it helps that you already have some things packed from your last move. A few years ago I moved three times in eighteen months and it was so stressful. It’s nice when you’re finally settled in a place that makes you happy though.

  2. Hi Stephanie – a good reading month for you and congratulations on moving, although I know what a pain it can be. I am trying to avoid the bad news and just get through the next few months, with a lot of books, of course! Happy long weekend!
