What did you recently finish reading?
Eyes on Me by Rachel Harris. This was cute, if pretty average.
What are you currently reading?
Cheesy on the Eyes by Teagan Hunter. This is pretty enjoyable so far. My review for this one will be up next week.
What do you think you’ll read next?
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (The Hunger Games #0) by Suzanne Collins. I broke down and bought a hard copy of this to go with the rest of my collection. I haven’t seen too many reviews on it yet, so I’m going to be cautiously optimistic going in.
I hope Suzanne Collins new book won’t disappoint you! I’m definitely skeptical about it but I’m sure fans will have fun with it! 😀 Happy reading!
Thanks! I’m trying to keep my expectations low and just crossing my fingers!
I’m definitely curious about The Ballads Of Songbirds And Snakes! Although I’ll probably end up staying away until the hype slows a bit haha. I hope you will enjoy it! Happy reading. xx
Thank you! My sister (who was like a Hunger Games mega fan) just got her copy, so I’m kind of waiting to see what she says before I jump in.
I am so jealous you already read Cheesy on the Eyes! I can’t wait for it to be released.
Yeah, Eyes on Me is pretty standard. It was fun to read. I will be eagerly awaiting for your review on that Collins’ book.
I think you will like Cheesy on the Eyes! The banter is so great. Eyes on Me was cute, but I probably not one that will stand out in the long run. I would still be interested in checking out a sequel, though, with the guy’s sister and best friend. Fingers crossed on the new Hunger Games book!
I’m so excited!!!
It’s been ages since I read the Hunger Games series! I’m guessing this is a prequel?
Yes, it’s a sequel that follows President Snow when he was younger.
I hope you enjoy the Teagan Hunter book. I haven’t read anything by her in a long time.
Thank you! I did really enjoy it! It has great banter. The first book in her Text series is still my all time favorite of hers, though.
Great banter is one thing I love in books. Romance or any genre.
Agreed!
