WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

What are you currently reading?

Inside Out by Demi Moore. Even though I’ve never been a big fan or anything of Moore, I have been looking forward to reading this and I’m enjoying it so far. Out of all of the entertainment industry memoirs I’ve read (which have admittedly been few) hers feels the most transparent. She’s just laying it all out there and does not tiptoe around calling people out.

What did you recently finish reading?

Girl in Luv by Jay Crownover and Rebecca Yarros. I enjoyed this one more than I honestly thought I would, but it doesn’t really stand out as a story I’ll remember in the future. I haven’t been in the mood to read the sequel yet, but I’m hoping to get to it before my KU subscription ends.

No Way Out (DI Adam Fawley #3) by Cara Hunter. This is one of my favorite series and for some reason, there is STILL not a US release date for this third book in the series. I have been waiting not so patiently for it and I noticed that you could get the UK version paperback on Amazon and I got a copy of it for Christmas from my brother and sister-in-law last weekend and am looking forward to finally getting to read it!

  1. I have been curious about Demi Moore’s book. I had it on hold then took it off. I put way too many on hold sometimes. She is the narrator on the audiobook so I am going to give that a try. I loved listening to Elvis Duran narrate his book. I really hope he writes another one.

  2. I’m glad you’re enjoying Inside Out. I agree that she did call people out. There’s one person toward the end she called out (you’ll know who when you get to it) and I did have to wonder if it was the drugs that made her see things the way she did. It also made me want the other side of the story.

  3. Girl in Luv sounds really good! I love fake relationship/date books for some ungodly reason! XD I’m glad you seemed to enjoy it! I added it to my TBR. I love the cover so much, omg. I’m annoyed there is a sequel to it though. I find it weird when anything other than fantasy has more than one book XD

    • Fake Relationship stories are my favorites! And the cover is probably my favorite of the whole year. I hope you enjoy it!
From what I can tell, this book was originally only available through a pre-order with one of the author’s books. And then the second book was only available through a pre-order for the other author’s book. And don’t even get me started on how much that annoys me!!

  4. HI Stephanie, I think I’d be interested in Inside Out. We’ve been talking about it at work and I’m from that Brat Pack era. Demi Moore has had rough relationships and struggles her entire life, and is proof that fame and glory don’t always help. I’m about to start Daisy Jones and the Six – looking forward to it!

      • Hey Stephanie. I almost grabbed the Demi Moore book off the rental shelf at the library this weekend, but I have so many other books in the queue, I decided to wait. Just finished Daisy Jones this morning and I really enjoyed it – that’s my era – 70s and 80s!

  5. I’m curious about the memoir! And I’ve been meaning to pick Cara Hunter’s books for a while, but it’s hard to find time for more new series. xD Have a wonderful week! xx
