November 2019 Recap

This book slump I have been battling for the past few months really hit me in November. I didn’t get much reading done and most of what I read was just so-so. I also tried my hand again at NaNoWriMo, which took up a lot of prime reading time. I ended up a little over 12,000 words short of the 50,000 goal. My story was really boring and I couldn’t make myself care that much about it. It was good practice, though, and I wrote almost every day. I’m hoping to really zero in on an idea that excites me and start writing more consistently. I also had a really nice Thanksgiving hanging out with two of my nieces.

  1. I’m glad you had a nice Thanksgiving!! But I’m sorry about your book slump. I have had so many of those this year – it sucks!! I should’ve taken advantage and tried to write this month. I always forget about it.
