I prefer to stick to Kondo’s other advice, which is only keeping things that bring you joy. Trust me, Marie Kondo – all 1000+ of books are bringing me joy! π
LOL, I like that one better, too.
Yeah, really – what is she thinking? π
Definitely not a bookworm haha.
Only 30? What’s with that?
Right?! haha
She really caused an uproar with that one! BUT I get what she’s saying. I’m only allowed 5 shelves of physical books due to space. At first, I was sad. I wanted to keep all of the books. It was actually kind of freeing to pass on books to friends or take them to half-price books. I kept my signed books, some YA books I loved/want to share with my daughter, and some other favorites. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. I prefer to read on my e-reader anyway. Now that thing, it has THOUSANDS of books on it! So maybe I am still a book hoarder…
I agree that e-readers do make it easier to not have as many physical books. I have a pretty small apartment, but I still have way more than 30 books. I did give a box-full away to Goodwill not that long ago, though.
