Like I’m sure most other bloggers do, I drafted this post awhile ago, to finish editing closer to the posting date. However, as I tried to add pictures I’m having a lot of problems with WordPress. Once a picture is added, it will not let me edit it. I can not select the picture to re-size it and whenever I try to click on it, the whole page shifts up or down. Am I the only one this is happening to? I’m also having issues with Goodreads. I finished a book and marked it as read, but it would not let me enter a Finish date, which means it doesn’t update my reading challenge. Again, is this just me? I’m so frustrated right now. Sorry this post looks like crap.

Some day I will read as many books as you do in a month. Lol. That was a good month! I haven’t been having issues with WordPress, but if I try to update a book on the Goodreads app on my phone, it won’t always mark a completed date. I have to go in and act like I’m doing a review even if I’m not, and then it’ll update it correctly.
I’m pretty happy with how many books I knocked out this month! I’ve tried every conceivable way to mark a finish date on Good Reads, but NONE of them work. Going in to write a review is how I normally do it, but it did not work. The picture stuff on WordPress is driving me insane. Like, I basically can’t add pictures now unless I don’t try to edit it’s position or size. I know it’s an overreaction, but I am so frustrated I’m ready to just quit blogging. 😦
I’m also at 68 in my GR challenge! ha…twinning And yes, I’m having issues with GR and my shelf. Sometimes I can’t find a book I’ve read and reviewed. Very frustrating. Not having that WP issue though.
Haha we are crushing it! Although my Good Reads only says 67 because it won’t let me mark an end date on the last book I finished. I’m so frustrated by it! And WordPress is driving me crazy. It’s like I’m the only person it’s happening to and it makes me just not want to do any more posts.
Nooo you can’t stop posting. Use the wordpress hotline button thing.
There’s a wordpress hotline button? Where do I find that? I did finally find a support forum to post the question (am I the only one who finds it really difficult to find that space???). I checked back on it this morning and it basically said “re-ask your question at this site instead”. So I just re-posted it so *fingers crossed*. I’m so frustrated, though! Good thing I already have several posts drafted from before this problem started.
You had a good reading month! I’m sorry you’re having problems with wordpress. I never had that problem but it did create some other problems to me. Yeah, Goodreads sometimes does that, I enter finish date at the edit review page.
Thanks! I seem to be the only person this picture thing is happening to in WordPress and it’s really frustrating. Entering the finish date on the review date is what I normally do, but it won’t save it. I’ve tried every other way I could think to try and it still doesn’t work. 😦
I didn’t know about WordPress issues, but I do know that Goodreads has been a problem for many as of late. I hope it all gets resolved soon. I’ve been debating with myself whether or not to buy Listen to Your Heart since I still have her previous novel sitting on my shelf, but I’ve got a B&N coupon in my inbox just sitting there staring at me. Hope you have a wonderful June!
I was finally able to set a finish date for the last book I read, but GoodReads still seems to be a little screwy. WordPress is still driving me crazy. I finally found a forum where someone else was having the same issue, but haven’t seen a good solution for it yet. Hopefully I’ll get someone to respond to my post there. Listen to Your Heart is very cute! If you’re a Kasie West fan I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
I ended up buying it, Stephanie! It should come in the mail today >_<
Yay!! I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!
Even if all your books weren’t hits, you still had a great month!
Yeah I was pretty happy with how many books I read and how many reviews I got posted!
It’s the first time I’m hearing about those technical issues… Hope you find a solution to them soon, if not already. But wow, 15 books in a month! You sure do go through each of them at the speed of light! Hope June will be filled with awesome books for you, Stephanie. Happy reading! 😀
I’ve found one other person on a support forum, but the answer was “you’re a .org blog, not .com so please post your questions here>” and I replied saying I’m .com, please help. And then I checked it again today and they said “repost your question here…” so I did and I haven’t gotten a response yet. Anywho, yes I was very happy with how many books I knocked out in May. Doesn’t always happen that way haha. Happy June to you!
I hope your issues with WordPress and Goodreads are solved soon! Goodreads was acting pretty wonky for me as well, but it seems like it’s going better today. *fingers crossed* It looks like you had a wonderful reading month though!
Thanks! Goodreads seems to be doing better for me, too, though not completely back to normal. WordPress is still giving me a headache, though.
Oh shoot! WordPress is always acting up; I do hope it will get better for you soon. Fingers crossed at least Goodreads will get back to normal soon.
Thanks! Me too!
I don’t have that issue with images, but I think I’m tired of doing wrap-ups! 68 books already!! WOW
I finally got some response on the support forum and downloaded a new browser, so now my picture issue is fixed (hooray).
