So true!
Last week my sister read The Convenient Groom (Denise Hunter) and then immediately said she was going to watch the Hallmark movie. I tried to stop her but the siren call was irresistible! Didn’t you watch it when it came out and agree it was pretty bad???
Yes it was VERY different from the book! I couldn’t be objective about it at all bc of how different they were. But even without reading the book I don’t think I would’ve been super impressed with the movie. What did your sister think?
Apparently she didn’t think it was that great, but she really likes the actor who played the main hero, so she rolled with it. 😀
Yeah he was on Gilmore Girls so I have some love for him. I thought that they casted both leads a little older, though, which I thought was odd since they usually make everyone younger.
So true! If I read the book first, I don’t like the movie. If I see the movie, I know how the book ends. Best option – stay away from the movie! LOL
I agree, though I always still get excited for the movie thinking “maybe this one will be good.” I never learn.
Haha!
