I’m back! What’s that? You didn’t realize I was gone? Well, I was. The time away from blogging (and twitter!) gave me a lot more time to read and do Real Life things in the evenings and I think I definitely needed it. I’m going to ease back into things here and will hopefully soon catch up with all the comments and posts I missed in February. I’ll have a Reviewing the Unreviewed post in a few days to share what I read last month.
So what else happened during my hiatus? I got a new job! There was some restructuring in my agency and I interviewed for another position. It comes with a little more money and my own office! It also comes with A LOT more responsibility and many, many things I’ve never done before. It’s been really stressful so far, but I think one day when I (hopefully) know what I’m doing, it will be good.
Throw in some books, a funeral for my dear Aunt, a visit with my newest niece, and a couple of panic attacks (one while driving, which was so not fun) and that was my February. I’m hoping for a productive and more enjoyable March!
First of all, I’m SO happy to see you back!! I missed your posts and just keeping up with you! I got off Twitter a few weeks ago and have been taking my own mini blog/social media break.
Congratulations on the new job!!!! That’s so exciting! Having your own office is so cool, too. You’ll get into the groove soon, I’m sure!
I’m sorry about your aunt and the panic attacks. I hope March brings you some peace and calm.
Glad you’re back!
Thank you! It was a good break from things, but now I feel so far behind on everybody else. I love having a door to close at work. It makes training so much easier. Oh and I wanted to let you know that there’s going to be another essential oils make-and-take at the Barrell Room later this month. I’ll let you know the details once i get them if you’re interested!
Yes, please let me know!
Don’t worry about catching up. Start fresh and don’t stress about it!
Congrats on the new job! That’s awesome!
Despite the lows it seems like February had some great highs so I hope things are on the up for you in March ๐
Thank you! I’m hoping March only gets better.
WOOHOO! Best news of the day!

Good to see you back!! Sounds like you had an eventful month. I’m.gad you’re break felt good, would be nice to take a break from life stuff sometimes. ๐
Panic attacks aren’t fun. Stress and anxiety. Would be nice to take a break from those too! And well done on the new job. I’m sure you’ll get the hang of all the new stuff soon. ๐
Thanks! It’s good to be back. Taking a break from life stuff (without any big consequences haha) would be so nice! My anxiety levels have really been increasing lately. But hopefully things will start to get better ๐
Hopefully. Sometimes anxiety just likes to remind us it’s there, I think. ๐
Good luck with the new job, I just recently started a new one so I know how you feel. And I’m so sorry for your aunt ๐ฆ

Thank you! I love having a door!!
Welcome back! ๐ Congratulations on the new job position- how exciting and I am sure it was great to take some time off! ๐
Thank you! It was good to take some time off for sure, but I’m glad to be able to get caught back up with all my book blogging friends!
Welcome back! I missed “seeing you”. I am so sorry about your Aunt and the panic attacks and I hope March will be better for you. Congratulations on your new job!
Thank you! It was a good break, but I did miss all my book friends! Hey, have you read The Last Place You Look by Kristen Lepionka? Her second book (which I liked even more than the first) comes out in May and she’s going to be at one of the Cleveland libraries sometime in May if you’re interested?
No I haven’t read that book. I considered it because the mystery portion sounded good but the personal life of the main character gave me pause so I didn’t read it. I can let you know if I decide to go ahead and give it a try. Also, I have way too much going on at the moment and I can’t think that far ahead either. We can talk about it closer to the time if that’s ok. Are there any other authors you are interested in seeing? I haven’t checked in awhile.
No problem! It’s not one that costs many, so even if I register and don’t end up going, it won’t be a big deal. And I completely understand if you decide you don’t want to read it based on some of the stuff in it. I didn’t love that part either, but the mystery made up for it for me. I haven’t noticed that anyone else I wanted to see have been announced yet (I’m still crossing my fingers Pierce Brown will be here for his next book in the fall!!). I hope things are all going ok with you. How is the job going?
My job is going well. Thanks for asking! I have a lot going on with my kiddos right now. It is overwhelming at the moment. I will try to give the book a chance and see how it goes. I would hate to miss out on seeing her if I like it.
Ok no pressure! Sheโs from Columbus so Iโm sure there will be more chances if this stop doesnโt work out.
I would love to see Pierce Brown! I suggested him to the library but nothing came of it.
Congrats on the new job! Glad you’re back! It’s important to take time away. I’ve been MIA from my blog the last month too. Here’s to a happy, reading-filled March!
Thank you! I hope you’ve had a restful month away, as well!
Welcome back and congrats on your new job! I hope March is kinder to you and I’m wishing you lots of wonderful reads.
Thank you! I hope you have a good March, as well!
Welcome back and congrats on the new job!
Thank you!!
