It’s finally Fall. Even though it started with 90 degree weather in Ohio, it’s been a little cooler the last few days and I love it. September has been stressful with work. We have a new fee schedule that starts in October and despite two separate “trainings”, we haven’t really been trained. I have also been tapped to do some extra work on it, but again had very poor training and we still haven’t been given the information we were promised, so it’s been a very stressful time. I hate not being adequately prepared for something. My reading month was a little disappointing with only one 4 star read.

Book News:
One of Us Is Lying being developed by E! for tv series
One of Us is Lying has made it’s way onto my Favorites list of 2017 and I think it lends itself really well to a tv series. I know that being “in development” doesn’t necessarily mean that it will actually make it to air, but I really hope this one does!
New Book by Leigh Bardugo Announced
Nikolai is getting his own series!!!! He is one of my favorite characters and I am so excited that we’ll get more of him. King of Scars will be published in 2019 (so far away!). Did you know that Bardugo originally planned to kill Nikolai off in the same book he was first introduced? I’m so glad she didn’t. And can Kaz Brekker PLEASE be involved in this book somehow?!?
Marry Me at Christmas by Susan Mallery to be a HallMark Christmas Movie
I went on a big holiday romance reading binge last year and one of my favorites was Marry Me At Christmas (Fool’s Gold #19) by Susan Mallery. I was very excited to see that it’s been updated to be part of Hallmark’s Christmas movie line-up. It’s set to air on October 28th, which I think is WAY too early for anything Christmas related, but I’ll make an exception for HallMark.
Looking Forward to October:
I am feeling ahead of the curve with 5 reviews already scheduled for October – including my spot on the blog tour for 13 Minutes by Sarah Pinborough. After four years of blogging this is just my second time as part of a tour. The only other book that I’m really anticipating for October is All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater. My Canadian relatives are coming for a visit at the end of the month and I am very excited to see how much my niece has grown!
It’s being turned into a TV series!? That’s so awesome! I get nervous though that they will ruin it when books go to the big screen lol. You had a great September! I’m so excited that its October🎃🍂🍁
Adaptions always make me nervous, too! But I think it has great potential!
True, it does have good potential! Can’t wait to watch it.
Ooo! I need to set my DVR to record Marry Me at Christmas! That was a cute book. 🙂 You had a great month.
I think it will make a cute movie! I love HallMark Christmas movies.
Oh I still need to read One of us is lying! It looked so good!
I quite enjoyed it!
I just bought a copy of One Of Us Is Lying this morning. It sounds awesome – and perfect for this time of year. I’m so glad you liked the Coben book!
I’m sorry work is so stressful right now. Sounds really frustrating – I hope things improve soon.
Thanks! It was a pretty awful day at work today…but I only have a 4 day week this week so that’s good! I hope you love One of Us is Lying! It’s one of the few that lived up to the hype for me.
