October 2015 Recap

Download iMOM’s Free October 2015 printable calendar. October means falling in love with pumpkins all over again.:

After  a pretty sparse blogging and reading month in September, I was determined to do better in October. And I did – for the first couple of weeks. The last couple both my reading and my blogging took a little bit of a hit. I think I burned myself out on it too quickly. However, I’m still overall pleased with how the month went. Also this month I published my 500th post!

Today is my birthday! I’m going to have some lunch at Bonefish Grill (Bang Bang Shrimp!) and then go to the kick-off event Write-In for NaNoWriMo, which I’m doing for the second year in a row. This means that my blog will be pretty sparse on the reviews – and really most everything else – in November. I’ll still be here, though, so don’t forget about me!

  1. Happy birthday! So cool it being at the start of NaNo! Hope you’re having a really great day. 🙂 And that the writing’s going/gone well. 😀

  2. Congrats on reaching your 500th post! That’s amazing, I am not even up to 100 yet and I’ve been blogging for almost 5 months now haha. I hope you had a fantastic birthday!
I am also a little gleeful to see you rate Confess by Colleen Hoover low, so I had so much trouble sticking to that book – bah!

  3. Nice wrap up!! I just read this and realised I haven’t done my October wrapup yet! Kudos for doing all those reviews. Initially I had planned to do a review (not including those for book/blog tours) every monday but I really have to start planning and writing stuff like this down. I love doing the Tours and Blitzs and Cover Reveals but I feel like they are taking over which is not my vision for my blog so I am being very choosy for next year so that I have time and space for other posts.

    • Thanks! I am too much of a mood reader – and mood reviewer – to make myself schedule reviews for certain times. I have gotten better at writing reviews and then saving them for a time when I know the blog will be sparser instead of posting them right away like I used to. I agree the other stuff is fun to do, but when I have nothing but that I start to get bored with myself.
